True or False?

Is this statement correct?
Bourbon is made in the county of Bourbon, Kentucky.

Answer:
False! Bourbon County is a "dry" county. In fact, most of Kentucky is made up of dry counties. However, in the civilized parts of the state which do allow liquor, like the Bourbon Trail in Nelson County, there are 7 bourbon distilleries.

Nice site, but I thought I'd let you know that Bourbon County, KY is actually wet. You can verify this on your own on the states ABC webpage or on the Paris-Bourbon County Tourism Commission's website:

"Many people mistakenly believe Bourbon County is dry
because of the oft-repeated saying that states: “You can get a
drink in Christian County but not in Bourbon County.” The
truth is that there are numerous places in Bourbon County
where one can enjoy the liquor named for the county."
