People are truly mystifying, sometimes. I couldn't help but pair this burglary-gone-awry with the perfect drink. The recipe and photo comes from our pals at Gumbo Pages. And, for those of you wondering what "jilipoya" means, well, just pretend you didn't hear it from me. (Hint: It is something akin to "dumbass.")
3/4 ounce gin
3/4 ounce Cointreau
3/4 ounce Lillet blanc
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
2 dashes absinthe, Herbsaint or other pastis
Combine in a shaker with cracked ice; shake and strain. Garnish with a stemless cherry.
