11-year-old charged with driving drunk in Alabama

Firstly, that the girl is eleven and drinking. Secondly, that she is eleven and driving. Thirdly that she is drinking and driving. And, finally that the kid lives in Alabama, which probably is the kind of place that eleven-year-olds drink and drive. Jeeez.

On the other hand I do not understand why a mother was put to prison for allowing her sons to have a beer on their birthday!
