Feeling Frapée...

Puerto Rico is lush with flowers, foliage and tropical fruits. Naturally, these become incorporated into local food and drink! Here's my version of a Puerto Rican pleasure, enjoyed from morning 'til midnight...

Mango Frapée
1/2 of a fresh, juicy mango
2-3 teaspoons raw sugar
squeeze lime
1/2 cup ice

Blend until smooth. Serve in a chilled glass, for best results. Garnish with a strawberry, slice of mango or lime wheel. Salud!

(*De-Virginize by adding a shot - or two - of Puerto Rican rum!)

Sounds delightful. When I read "de-virginize", however, I couldn't help but think...maybe you could call it "deflower"!

Hey Shawn,
De-flower is a pretty term. :-)

However, I use "de-virginize" when referring to 'spiking' my
Preggatinis (tm) for dads and non-pregnant friends.

So, I guess its habit...
