The loosely sophisticated little watering hole just off Union Square is owned by Greg Lindgren and Jon Gasparini, the personalities behind successes Rosewood and 15 Romolo.

The collaborative spirit of San Francisco’s bartenders is celebrated in Rye’s weekly Monday Mixing Contests, with winning cocktails featured on its regularly updated drink list. Aaron affirms, “We all talk to each other. We’re all geeks.” Sign me up!

Rye’s featured orginial drink for Cocktail Week, The Dogpatch Cocktail is made with:

Pikesville rye

Sweet vermouth

Orange twist

Next time you’re in the Bay Area, stop in for a round of pool and a delicious libation. No reservations required.
